    or "Why I'm Never Canning Stew Again" Oh my, what was a thinking? I found this recipe online (link below) and I thought "Hey, that sounds like it might be good!" I'm not a huge fan of cabbage or vegetables in general, but I've been trying to branch out and try different things so I thought I'd give this recipe a try.

    I was very surprised today to return from my doctor's appointment to be met by my FedEx guy in my driveway with a package for me! It was my canner! I wasn't expecting it until Saturday (especially since it only shipped on Monday!), and here it was.

    I love pickles. I really do. When I was pregnant, I use to eat the small hamburger slices by the bowl full. I had this thing for sour/tangy food and pickles were just so convenient  I also craved lemon freezes...

    I have to admit, when I made this last week I was really skeptical of how it would turn out. Don't get me wrong, I love fresh watermelon - but I wasn't sure if the flavor we all know and love would survive the blending and the boiling and the pounds of sugar and pectin needed to turn it into jelly.

    Hello everyone! I know it's been awhile since I've posted here, but I think I might start up again. Since the last time I wrote, we have moved, took a break from my fiber business, prepped for a deployment that fortunately passed us by, started making jewelry, dabbled in polymer clay, started my fiber business up again and took it to the next level, and now I'm canning!
