When I was first introduced to WoW, it was when my husband (fiance at the time) started playing it. I had heard horrible things about how WoW turns normal teenage boys into computer zombies and I feared I’d never see him again. I was adamant that once his free month had run out that he had to cancel his account – but he cut a deal with me. If I played WoW, and didn’t like it, then he’d cancel his account. But if I did like it, then he’d get me my own account and we could play together.
Long story short – we have been playing on and off for 4 years now.
I still enjoy playing Diablo and WoW with my husband when I’m in the mood (I seem to go on 6 month binges lol) but the rest of the time I play games like Pokemon on my DS (I’m a huge Pokemon fan!) or Plants Vs. Zombies on the computer. While I do enjoy more serious games, I have quite a large soft spot for cute little puzzle and arcade style games. Loco Roco for the PSP is one of my all time favorites.
My husband does a good job though of making sure I am at least exposed to new games or different genres. He has a pretty diverse selection of games and tends to keep up with new things a lot better than I do. I’ll be sure to keep you all update on all the shenanigans that he and I get into with our friends.
